My Mission
Educating Young Minds creates common-sense educational methodologies, products, and services that are intuitively designed to revolutionize the way parents, caregivers, and educators foster critical thinking and awaken learners, of any age.
My Vision
Every learner can think. Can every learner think critically? Yes.
Monica Knighton—author of The Adventures of Josh and Monkey series (currently in local libraries)—is a professional development consultant, wife, and mother of three who has spent the past 17 years serving as an effective educator. She is regarded as a “teacher of teachers” and has served the community advocating every child can become a critical thinker. Her highly effective workshops My Teacher, Literacy, and Me™, Mommy, Literacy, and Me™, and Literacy Success for Middle Schoolers™ continue to foster critical thinkers: teachers, parents, and children.
“My life’s work is to continually refine the way I reproduce my reading and high-level learning techniques for instructional coaches, teachers, parents, and children.”
